The TL5 was developed in a unique collaboration between
experienced field combat officers of the IDF and TAR - one
of the largest suppliers of military and security solutions
in Israel. It is the outcome of a necessity concluded from
the 2nd Lebanon war – the uncompromising need for an
Infrared Combat Identification Device meeting their specific
requirements.

The unit is water proof and shock resistant, O-ring sealed for dust and moisture protection. IP55 rating (weather) and easily survives a 2-meters free fall.
The visible marker is available at a selection of colors – white, red, orange, blue and can also be manufactured in any color or combination (blue& red) to fit your requirements. The device itself can be produced in different colors (standard is army green).
