Approximately 90% of global trade is transported by sea, and ports are vulnerable to a wide array of threats: ranging from trafficking weapons, narcotics, and people trafficking to smuggling other illegal contraband and even terror threats. Security has become a significant challenge for a large port with a vast influx of people and goods coming in and out.
TAR’s MDA solution actively collects information on vessels entering a country’s territorial waters and explores their full profile, including compliance, safety risks, sanctions violations and other relevant factors. It monitors, detects, and prioritises threats in real-time and provides insights, actionable intelligence, and reports to authorities, enabling them to rapidly respond to threats and ensure proper maritime security.
SENSORS & RADARS
Integrating multiple sensors and sub-systems provide port authorities with a complete situational overview of the many operational centres within the port. This includes Maritime surveillance radar, Sonar-underwater detection and IoT sensors.
Automatic alerts for security breaches, reduction in activity and system or equipment failure such as Anti-drone systems, Video surveillance & management systems, Inspection & detection systems, Perimeter intrusion detection and Drone surveillance systems.
CIRCLE OF DEFENCE
The real-time analysis and management systems monitor and facilitate better work procedures and management of crews and sub-contractors.
VESSEL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (VTMS)
Using multiple sensors, from radar, sonar, and AIS to IR/TV technology, the system facilitates vessel traffic management in busy coastal areas, ports, and harbours. The VTMS enables operators to utilise resources and coordinate traffic flow more efficiently. With real-time detection and tracking capabilities of both small and high-speed targets, operators receive alerts if a target enters a restricted area.
